RAUS Global – Cannes Lions 20 24 Summary

Cannes Lions 2024, attracted a lot of the same companies and individuals who usually attend every year. New was the large influx of Retail Media networks and Management Consultancies which had all taken up valuable spaces the beach or in expensive hotels.

While the conference is intended to celebrate creativity in advertising and marketing, we highly recommend Marketing Procurement to attend the Festival. Many of the sessions help procurement folks learn what is on the mind of the marketing teams and “see around the corner” to spot trends, innovation and new ideas.

This year’s festival emphasized the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in crafting personalized consumer experiences. Keynote speakers highlighted how AI can streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance strategic decision-making.


RAUS Global – May/June 2024 Newsletter

May was a hectic month for everyone in the marketing procurement function.

Marketing Procurement IQ ( hosted its inaugural Marketing Procurement iQ conference in April 2024. There were 19 sessions on Day 1 and 15 on Day 2. The sessions ranged from creative production to media transparency, covering all topics in between.

It was time for the long-running ANA Advertising Financial Management Conference in Orlando in early May. Over 400 people attended, both in-person and virtually, and topics focused on the marketing procurement career, media inventory, transparency, and AI.

RAUS Global was honored to present with the Charles Group and one of their clients how marketing procurement can drive an effective relationship while being part of the value equation. RAUS Global continues to be focused on driving better DEI representation across brands.

RAUS Global – March 2024 Newsletter

First, we would like to thank our readers for allowing us to be part of your marketing procurement journey. When we first founded RAUS Global, we identified five core values we embody across work and life. They are 1) independent advisors, 2) purpose-driven, 3) industry collaboration, 4) trusted innovators, and 5) community members. In our first year of existence, we could deliver across all five disciplines through our work with industry partners, driving thought leadership through articles, individual client discussions, and our newsletter, and supporting our community through bi-weekly volunteering at Westside Coalition against Hunger and NYCares. Our industry collaboration has been demonstrated by RAUS Global, which led a consortium of partners during pitches worth 1.5 billion US dollars of media spending in 2024 alone.

RAUS Global – February 2024 Newsletter

Welcome to 2024! It is now officially the year of the Dragon. The Dragon is considered a symbol of strength, courage, and good fortune.

We are still facing geopolitical uncertainty around the globe but we are also seeing increased media spend due to the US presidential election and the Paris Summer Olympics. We also can look forward to Copa America, the South American soccer championships.

We normally only issue a quarterly Newsletter but there has been so many articles and insights coming out in our industry (as well as from RAUS Global) that we felt we had to release this Newsletter in mid February. Enjoy!
